"Yeah, I'm good," Roxanne replied offhandedly, adjusting herself on the crumpled blankets. When he approached, she smiled and held the book out for him to take. It was a translated copy of Tractatus astrarii from the library, old and crumpled but carefully preserved.
"What d'you reckon?" She asked, pulling one knee up to her chest and resting her chin on top. Roxanne nodded to the diagram that the book was open on - an etched diagram of the ancient author's own astrarium. She reached out, pointing pointing one particular section. "You see this dial? I think that's where I'm having trouble."
It wasn't the easiest, trying to build something blind, from books and old diagrams rather than anything material. She'd managed to salvage most of the pieces, but some would need to be made from scratch. Roxanne was more than happy to accept any help Theo could give - she liked working alongside other people. And as much as she loved her family and cousins, it was nice to expand her social circle a little.
"What's got you in such a good mood, then?" She asked, eyeing him teasingly.
