Most days were filled with an endless supply of monotony and tedium, today and the day previous however had been a winning one so far as Theo was concerned. A new job, new prospects, causing a little annoyance and pushing his luck, overall more than he could have hoped for. He'd dare say he was even happy.
Work had passed and he grabbed a quick meal before making his way over to Roxanne's. He hadn't said a time for sure he'd be there, but she had said she'd be around. After knocking at her door, and hearing her call out, he was inordinately pleased.
"I'd say I'm properly chuffed," he said with a smile to match her own as he made his way inside. "And you?" he asked as he shut the door behind him, pushing it closed with his back before pushing off and walking forward. Theo glanced around. Other people's quarters were always interesting, at least to him. It said a great deal about another person, knowing how they lived when they were alone.
Theo turned his glance for a moment at Roxanne's workspace, taking an assessment of her work in progress and wondering what he may have back at his that might help move things along. That could wait though, he thought as he made his way over to where she sat.
He drummed his fingertips lightly on the cover of the book she held, "what are you reading?" he asked with genuine interest.
