"I'm kind of glad I didn't see it," James admitted. "Although, not really. I wish I had been... well, you know what I mean." There were, quite frankly, too many timelines involved in most conversations these days, and they made his head fuzzy.
Harry started walking, and James fell into step beside him. He couldn't help but smirk a little at the comment about Sirius. At least Padfoot could be relied upon to do something mad, no matter what timeline or era he was in. But Harry was right- it'd be ideal if said stupid thing didn't end in curtains, in all senses of the word.
"Sirius doesn't know what 'careful' means. But I'll keep an eye out, don't worry." He stuck his hands into his pockets- there was a definite chill creeping in as the sun set. James watched his feet moving, one after the other on the grass. "Is it weird, seeing him so young?" He asked, after a moment, still directing his question downwards. "I mean, me and Li- your Mum, i get that's different. But you knew Moony and Padfoot when they were older, right?"
