James released a big huff of air with a shrug. "Pass. Feels like all the obvious places have been checked already. It could have been taken abroad, for all we know."
It all seemed kind of ridiculous, really. James was usually a very big fan of the ridiculous, but this wasn't exactly what he had in mind. How were they, less than 20 people, supposed to fix anything like this? Fighting a war was one thing, but this... or had they just been brought here to die again? James's mind flicked, unbidden, to the graveyard in Godrics Hollow, the one he'd avoided like the plague.
More to keep his mind off it all than anything, James glanced back at the school. It looked strange - he didnt think he'd ever seen Hogwarts looking so dark. With such a small population, only a few lights were blazing in the window. "Wherever it is, I hope we find it. I'm not sure I'm a fan of the whole creepy abandoned castle thing."
