"Having everyone spread out across the castle probably isn't helping with pulling everyone together, either. Easier for everyone to get lonely if there's only a couple dozen people spread all over the castle." And, despite the gregarious nature of some, there were a lot of solitary people here, people who could easily go days only speaking to one or two other people. "And I feel the opposite. Getting up in the dark feels like being forced to get up before I'm ready, before the day's ready for me to be up."
Jamie shrugged. "Same thing usually. Just more redheads than Malfoys present." Dad, Uncle Ron, and Aunt Hermione would huddle together. His siblings, Scorpius and Roxanne would huddle. "I know. I'm so subtle about it," he said with a wink. Of course, the truth was, he was subtle about it until he started trusting someone a little bit and then they start to see the truth...like Savannah. "Well, we know Quidditch was a hit. Birthday parties seem to do well. When it dries out a bit weather-wise, we could try a day by the lake, swimming, picnic, what have you."
