"It's probably early for him. I'm trying to decide if he's going to hate waking up for these meetings or whether they'll be an excuse to stay up until after they end and then go to sleep," she said, laughing.
She put her plate down and reached for her water, a little spell added little bubbles so that she could have her sparkling water. "So it's Dad now?" she asked, with a very innocent expression on her face. "Working for him. Next, you'll be best mates" she teased. "And a few meals wouldn't hurt, maybe make it into a special dinner. Birthdays will help too."
Savannah smiled fondly at Jamie. "You forget that not all of us are like your family, with the Muggleborn relative living in Muggle London. I didn't know how to go around back in 2028, I'm not sure I would know now. Not that I can't learn. I guess the biggest problem isn't the where as much as the who. We don't know anyone out there and in here, it's the same people every day."
