"I was surprised not to see him when we came in," Jamie admitted. The club was nice. It would have been better if there was a society to use it properly. "I wonder if I could talk Dad into moving family lunch here once in a while. Might help the others to see it as a place they can use, too, if they see all the Potters taking a meal here."
Although, he had to admit that right now it made for a great, out of the way, place to have a quite chat despite the music. He'd stabilised mentally the last few days, partially after having had a reasonably successful conversation with his father. He wasn't sure what to think about the way Harry had suddenly become 'Dad' in his head or when he spoke. But, he supposed as long as they kept to business and not feelings they could manage to get along.
"The castle didn't throw a tantrum before when everyone was going out to look for information. So, we should be able to go out. It's just a matter of where. Maybe now that there are some of us from less than a billion years ago, we can get out into Muggle areas. Technology will have changed since 2028, but not as much as the rest of them would have been dealing with, even those used to the Muggle world." Maybe they could talk to his cousins, see if they could show them around since it sounded like they'd been travelling back and forth to see their dad this whole time.
