Lily wasn't typically the lazy type, used to having things to do, or a baby to feed. That she was still in bed, well, there was something almost decadent about being able to sleep in. It was a luxury that she hadn't been able to indulge in as much as she might have liked.
Of course Lily knew that soon things would change - she would start her job, and then have a schedule to conform to. For now though, she was thankful for the time she got to spend catching up with people and reacclimating herself to life in the dorms. Which reminded her that she would need to thank Sirius for giving her and James some time alone.
She had been mulling over recent conversations when James returned from the shower.
"I considered it," Lily murmured, finally sitting up and moving the blanket aside so she could get up. She had slept in one of his t-shirts, finding it more comfortable than actual pyjamas. "Aren't you just incorrigible? I'm not sure if I would have been good company. Both Peter and Sirius gave me some food for thought."
