Once she heard of the others that were already here, Marlene's expression brightened for a moment. "All my favorite people," she said giving Peter's arm a little squeeze. The idea that Harry was fully grown and older than herself gave her a little chuckle, and even better still he was Minister. Although she was a little disappointed that there was no more chubby little baby cheeks to squeeze. "Oh, my. Wasn't once enough?" She said delighted. A world without the Dark Lord, it was all too wonderful. Except for the end of it all, but she was choosing to focus on the silver lining.
That was at least until that silver lining slipped out of her grasp, and Peter's words felt like a punch in the gut. She couldn't hear much of what Peter said, it was like everything was rushing in all at once, and everything went white hot and silent. All of them? Her whole family?
"Okay," she managed to say meekly. She couldn't say much, she couldn't really think and for the moment she was just grateful for Peter's arm. She reached up to brush away a few tears from the corners of her eyes. She knew more would come later when she had the time to be alone. When it really sunk in and hit her fully.
