Hello ladies. I'm in the process of updating our records and I want to confirm that your birthday is 22 December 1979 and you're both 24. Also I need your residence. Finally, you will need a job for the first of May. I know that there are some things in the works, but I just thought that I'd remind you.

	I'm pretty sure that Snape has potions covered since I keep hearing that he's a genius in the field. We don't have any boys yet so that doesn't help. What other subjects were you good at in school? 	That doesn't surprise me, Severus has always been rather smart and exacting in his standards. I got high marks in Charms, I can cast a corporeal patrons, and I've always loved Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures. With herbology, we would need someone who can take care of the ingredients to Snape's exacting standards. I'm not sure the house-elves can. Cassandra was doing it, but- well, we need someone else.

Now, about the events, would you like to be in charge of birthday parties? Those are completely not part of the official job, but basically it's just reminding people when the party is and telling the house-elves to do cakes.

	Perfect! I'll put you down in charge of greenhouses. That will include making a list of anything we might need that it's not there. You will want to send that list to my grandfather and he'll try to get you seeds. Perfect, I'm attaching a copy of the birthday list. Just send a reminder a week before and we're golden. There's got to be something you enjoy. Right, sorry, I almost forgot who I was talking to for a moment.

I'd say drafting laws since you have the mind, but I'm not sure that you can argue with Regulus and your Aunt Hermione all the time.

If I can get you something in Hogsmeade, would you do it? I was thinking that those buildings need to be preserved even if we can't live there just yet. It probably requires lots of charm work but it can be lonely. Also if you do that, you can look for clues for the vault!

like my actual Dad. I think we might be sort of getting along. Or, as much as we can as he and Jamie and Lilu snip at each other and I don't say anything at all. But he doesn't seem to think I'm a waste of space, which is a nice change.

Well, he is and isn't your Dad, just like my Dad is and isn't my Dad, but it's nice to know that you're calling him Dad. Are you calling him Dad? Or was it just for me?

Pretty sure he likes you the best (not that I'm telling your siblings). He's always saying nice things about you. Well not always. He doesn't speak that much about personal stuff but he does say nice things about you.

We talked at that party the other night. I suggested some ways to enhance the club, like some bioluminescent moss there changes colors, and a dancing waterfall. Stuff that would go with his underground theme. He seemed.pretty receptive, and we went over some ideas. I've been playing with it since then, I think I can make something decently cool!

Yeah. Maybe I should. Maybe the break thing, so there can be a definite end point if it gets weird.

Maybe that's exactly what he's always needed. Three Slytherins to balance out his Gryffindorness.

He really doesn't seem to get along with Lilu and Jamie. I almost feel like I shouldn't, like it's kind of betraying them. Which I know isn't true. But I've never been on this side of a conflict before. Usually I'd just avoid it forever, but I don't think I should this time. I think I might have to be the one that actually, like, acts like the go between. Il

That's really great, Al. Not the charms, because I know you're amazing with them, but the fact that you've been talking to him and giving him ideas.

I'm telling you, it all goes back to my Dad. I'm convinced! And you're getting to know him, not backstabbing them in the back. On the other hand, I think they need to find their own way to talk to him, but start small and then you can what's best.

Technically I already have two jobs. I was working with Glenda until the architectural temper tantrum and I got assigned to look for clues to our giant treasure hunt until there was something to 'do' in dealing with the other governments.

Probably going to have to figure out what happens to the first now that she's gone, though.

You can't work for Glenda since there's no Glenda. On the other hand, your father has been going through enough parchment to cover Hogwarts trying to write the goblins. So maybe now is the time to talk to him about that job if you want a job in communication. Do you want me to pencil you in?

I mean it's not that terrible. There are the Patil twins. If you aren't terribly straight, then your choices improve. You have the Mauraders, Dumbledore, Greyback, Snape, Regulus and Theo. So basically pick Gryffindor or Slytherin. There's always Kirley who's neither.

Also I thought you'd say that we're practically family because your father is shagging my father. I'm not sure being Al's best friend stop us from having a one night stand.

The sound you can't hear is me laughing in terror at the thought of him writing the goblins. They are one of the few species that can't stand him, wands or no wands. Even I couldn't get a job with them at first because I was his kid. They only mildly tolerate me now because I work for them and Uncle Bill vouched for me. Yes, pencil me in, please. He needs to be saved from himself.

Pretty sure, after the party the other night and the way they were smiling at each other over lunch today, Regulus and Remus are off the market for one night stands, too. And I just got Savannah to be friends again, I'm not shagging her father if I want to live.

I try not to think about our fathers right now. You and Al have been thick as thieves since you were eleven. I hope you'll take this with all the affection it's meant to have. But, you're like a second brother now.

I wouldn't hold my breath. Considering that the castle really, really likes to bring families, every cousin you have is likely to arrive before we see anyone you aren't related to. Not that I'd mind a Weasley, but they do seem very long term. I figured you never wanted commitment, and avoided it like the plague, making you the perfect candidate.
