Sirius didn't like sleeping alone. He had always crawled into his friends beds at school, as himself or ad Padfoot, and had often slept over with James and Lily or Remus after they left Hogwarts. Now that the were back he'd alternate between Remus and James' room, mostly Remus lately since Lily was back. But this past week he'd stayed in his own room. Lily was back, and she and James needed space. And Remus was, well, Sirius was avoiding Remus. The result had been a whole week of nightmares and nowhere to retreat too. He'd woken up around 1am this morning, and knew he wouldn't be going back to sleep. So he'd slipped out, knowing a run would at least clear his head. He hadn't expected Remus to be waiting for him as he slipped back in around 5. Shit. He should have expected it, honestly. Remus for sure would have noticed Siriusus avoiding him. He'd just hoped to hold off this conversation. Maybe forever.
"Hey Moony." He bolted on a smile and found a spot on the floor to lounge. "Sure. What's on your mind?"
