"We talked about this. Let's not kill anyone just because of boredom." In a way, he believed that boredom had killed Sirius as much as Bella. He had needed an excuse to do something after being cooped up at Grimmauld Place and Harry had handed it to him without thinking. "I wouldn't mind safe. We've already had one death and three disappearances. Safe would be nice."
He chuckled. "I really can't see you as Minister anyway." He grew serious. "I never liked that the goblins weren't given the wands. True you don't need a wand to do magic if you're powerful, but a wand will give everyone the ability to cast magic. It's a great equalizer. It's not right that they can't. I could never get the Ministry to change it because it wasn't worth upsetting the international community over it but now? I get to do what's right and give the Confederation a waking call. It's a win win."
Harry was seldom observant but Sirius made it really obvious when something was wrong. "What happened now? You're a terrible liar and have an even worse poker face." He nodded. "He's taken this new criminal reform at heart. He's been working harder than I thought he would. Anyone who can keep up with Hermione likes books." He shook his head. "You would have been bored doing nothing. You would have found something to do."
