"Safe and boring, just kill me now," Sirius lamented. "There is literally nothing worse in the entire world than being safe and boring." He was only slightly exaggerating. He had never, ever, taken well to being cooped up and understimulated.
"There is not enough gold in the world for me to be Minister. But I am really looking forward to goblin wands. That's going to ruffle some feathers for sure. It's going to be brilliant," he smiled dreamily, already imagining all the stuffy old wizards clutching their pearls.
Sirius' face went completely blank at the mention of Regulus, but his smile snapped back on almost immediately after.
"Me and Reggie will figure it out I'm sure. He's busy these days, so we'll see." He shrugged, holding his hands out in a 'who even knows' sort of gesture. "I have no idea what I would have done, in the old world. After the war. If we'd all made it through, that is. I wanted to be a cursebreaker, once, just because it sounds cool. Not that I needed money. I'd probably have just been a useless layabout. I'm great at that."
