Al wasn't going anywhere in particular. He liked walking, it cleared his head, and thus part of the castle was usually deserted. He had been working on some charms for Kirleys club, modifying them to better suit the purpose, and was deep in thought as he turned the corner.

The shout of watch out barely penetrated his fog of concentration, and it was only the loud whizzing sound that accompanied it that made him look up. Just kn time too, as a large lump of something was about to collide with his head. He dodge awkwardly, not expecting a projectile, and managed to keep the thing from decapitating him. It slammed into his shoulder instead, and he and the lump both spun around absurdly fast before Al tripped on his own feet and down they went.

"Ow," he half whispered, looking at the now seemingly harmless iron ore that rested in his lap. His shoulder throbbed, but it didn't feel broken. What the fuck had that been? He looked up to see Albus, the real Albus, Professor Dumbledore. Huh.
