Maybe Al was just a terrible judge of character, but Kirley wasn't nearly as intimidating as Al had thought before. He'd assumed the man would be loud, brash, pushy. But for whatever reason Al found himself oddly comfortable around him. The truth was that Kirley probably knew how to talk to him after ten days of being him, but that whole thing was way too uncomfortable to think about.
Instead he focused on the club itself, trying to figure out some of the magic that was used here.
"There's, uh, there's some really, uh, some really clever charms work," he said appreciatively. "I, uh, haven't really paid much attention to, to other clubs but, uh, yeah, with limited, uh, with limited resources it's, um, it's clever. Yeah. I'm, uh, I'm impressed."
