Kirley & Al
Kirley was beyond pleased with how the club had turned out. There was work to do yet on the pool and spa, but the club was brilliant. Of course, it wasn't quite as brilliant as it would have been if he'd had the unlimited resources he was used to, but he was almost more proud of how it had turned out despite the challenges he'd been faced with. It wasn't the Bubble Palace, but The Styx had turned out quite well.

After getting himself another drink, he took a moment to look around. It seemed that most people had shown up for the birthday party, including someone who Kirley knew very well would have rather been in his room. Albus Severus Potter, who stood hunched in the corner, looking as if he'd rather have been anywhere else. Since Kirley still had vivid memories of being the younger man, he was pretty sure his assessment was accurate.

He hesitated only a moment, then grabbed a drink (non-alcoholic) that he knew Al would like, and headed over.

"Here. You look like you could use this. And don't worry, there's nothing fun about it," Kirley said, but in a slightly gentler tone than he would have used with someone else.
