"I meant just the fact that they died when he was a toddler." He was pretty sure that everyone knew that much. "How many memories can you have at that age? Not many I'm going to suppose since I know I don't remember anything from when I was one." He was lucky that he had plenty of memories, although they were slowly fading. He remembered her from pictures mostly. He'd have to ask Dad if he'd found any at the house.
"When are rumours not ridiculous? If they weren't, they'd be boring and no one would repeat them," he said, laughing. "You have to admit that the idea of you locking lots of pretty people in your house was an exciting rumour."
Scorpius shrugged. "I find most of the discussions here terribly boring. I don't care about new laws and new discoveries. You lot seem so intent in doing and learning that you seem to forget how to just enjoy life. You can tell from the jobs we had, how different they are."
He snorted. "If I didn't know how true it is, I'd say you're crazy."
