Scorpius smiled in sympathy. It wasn't easy to bond over such a terrible event. "I'm glad for the time I got, you know?" The question was rhetorical since Theo was one of the few who would know. "Imagine being like Mr. Potter. I think that's much worse."
He chuckled. "Well, it's not totally unfounded." Rumours were always born out of truths and then embellished. "Let's see. You liked the Dark Arts, you lived alone, you didn't seem particularly friendly. So why not be a Dark wizard? On the other hand, there were rumours of you enjoying sex, but no real names associated with you, therefore you must have had people hidden away in your house to ensure they wouldn't talk. Really it's all very logical when you think about it."
Scorpius did not need to know that, although he wasn't surprised either. "Again, rumours always come from the truth in some way. So whatever the situation is- was with Pansy's marriage, I will not bring it up with her if she decides to make a grand entrance. She would not be happy with either of us talking about her behind her back."
He really didn't get that. "What if the scope of what you can study is much more limited?" he asked, curious. "I don't think you'd get free rein here, not with all the priorities."
He grinned. "Oh darling, I don't clothe people. I make them look divine. On the other hand, I don't see this administration caring about looking divine. He either wears his Auror robes he arrived with or jeans that look too big and boring shirts he found." He smiled. "I can see it with the people coming here already. Even if it's Muggle fashion."
