Draco didn't point out that Harry must care at least a little, because if he didn't he would have said fuck this and quit a while ago.
"It's just an hour," he agreed, though it really wasn't. It was an hour every day, which added up. Draco knew he couldn't manage that.
"Scorpius is very good at that," he agreed. Though as far as Draco was concerned Scorpius was good at everything. He didn't comment on why it was so difficult. There were several possible answers, he had no idea which one was true, and he didn't think Harry would like any of them.
"I'd like to have dinner with you mother. With both your parents." James seemed fine, but the mythical Lily Potter was someone Draco quite wanted to meet. "And I like hugs. I'm not a Gryffindor," he teased. "As far as us, yeah, of course we can eat dinner every night." They often did anyway, and when they didn't Draco tended to come here afterward anyway. "Weasley and Granger too, if you want. When they can." He had long accepted that they were not a staple in his life.
