"Hogwarts, moonshine, and giant dangerous creatures," she said, grinning. "He was so disappointed when the brothers and I showed no interest in the moonshine. He was mollified slightly by my interest in all things giant and dangerous." A memory surfaced, and since Lilu was never one to keep things to herself, she decided to share. "I planned a caper to find my own dragon egg to raise, but I failed spectacularly. My Uncle Charlie always said that was probably for the best." She grinned at the comment. "I always asked him how he got Tiny, but he never said. The one time he kept a secret!"
Lilu beamed at the idea. "Oh! Wouldn't that be brilliant? The entire foundation of our society is based on the nesting habits of a giant, immortal squid." It probably wasn't even close to the truth, but Lilu was going to choose to believe it anyway.
"Yeah, that must have been very strange when you got your memory back, but maybe easier in a way? Like, I only knew Sirius through stories and history books. Now, though...I know a lot more." She wasn't going to go spilling Sirius' secrets to anyone, even Lily, but she was fairly certain Lily would have some idea what she meant. "Yeah, I guess Da--Harry wants everyone to have one, contribute meaningfully to the society or whatever." Or contribute in a way he found meaningful probably. "I'm just not sure where I fit yet."
