Knowing what little I know of that other decade, I can't blame my future self. While you and your friends seem to have taken a view similar to your father's, considering it no more than my 'furry little problem', I think the larger sentiment was still closer to my time than what it's become in yours. Now? Well, I'm twenty-three and in no hurry. What will be will be, I suppose.
