There's always something to enjoy in the world. You just have to look for it a little sometimes.
And that's a depressing image. When we first talked about the wife and child, I thought it was a choice. Poor Teddy. I hope he never knew. I think you may be right, however, he seemed unhappy even the first night he arrived. Whatever the castle's motivations or methods, maybe this is for the best.
James' memories weren't a bad thing to have, though. What he and Lily have is something special. It was...nice.
