"Guess we'll have to wait and see," Roxanne shrugged, trying her best to look serious and failing miserably. Instead she settled back on her perch, legs still swinging, and watched Theo wander towards the forgotten chair.
She stayed silent as he considered for a second, then raised the new wand. The chair peeled itself apart and started to reshuffle, pieces of wood morphing and slotting themselves here and there in a complicated dance. A few moments later and a beautifully made wooden trunk sat in its place, the worn wood gleaming.
Roxanne gave a low, impressed whistle, sliding off the bench and wandering over to stand beside him. One dark curl bounced in front of her face and she brushed it aside impatiently, ducking down close to Theo to peer inside. "That's amazing!" she exclaimed, straightening up and shooting him a grin.
"You managed it. You did all the hard work. So if there's any backfiring, you're on your own." With one last, cheeky smile, Roxanne stepped away from the ex-chair. "But fingers crossed you should be good to go - just give me a shout if you do need anything. And I'll be holding you to that astrarium stuff."
