"Thanks, and hello," Theodore said as he opened the door and stepped inside. Everything was just as he had left it, aside from the very obvious accumulation of new work that had commenced since his absence. The smell he had missed, the earthy warmth of the freshly cut wood and the base notes of moss and wood oils filled the air here. It was an odd sensation to be sure, to have a nostalgia for something he had not cared much about prior till now. It was something he'd likely associate with Roxanne forever. She was as he knew she would be working diligently, and he respected that. He too never did anything in half measures.
"I hope I didn't leave anything out of place," he said as he made his way over to her workbench, stopping a few feet from where she stood. It was a little odd to be sure, but that could be said of every other day here. Exceptionally odd today? Maybe. No he thought, definitely. When he came upon most people he watched and listened, he poked and pried and figured his way out around them. That wasn't something he felt compelled to do now. It was in it's own way sort of comforting.
"Better, thanks." He said with a slight smile. "It was all just a bit much, I just needed a bit of time to get my mind right," he said earnestly. "That's no reflection on you of course, or your memories. That's just me," he added. Relaxing his posture he leaned against the side of the work bench and turned to idly trace little patterns in the sawdust. "I see you trusty sidekick isn't here," he said in good humor. In truth it was a relief Sirius wasn't about. He hadn't spoken a word to him directly yet, but having spoken to his representation last week, he thought that might be a bit too full on for him to process at the moment.
