Jamie laughed. "I'd say the castle is a drama queen itself, given this last week. So, you may be on to something. It needs better taste."
But, his mirth quieted as she went on. His family was screwed up on a normal day. Today was not a normal day. For a moment he wondered how off balance her dad must have felt, thinking he was Al. Two more opposite personalities Jamie couldn't think of. But, more importantly, Savannah now knew dang near everything, everything he'd tried to keep from her before and everything that had happened since. It wasn't even really that it was Savannah that knew. But, that anyone knew that much. Jamie had built up very careful walls to keep people from seeing so much.
"I may need therapy to recover," he joked before deciding there was very little point in equivocating when she knew everything now. "Aside from learning way too much about my aunt and uncle's sex life, it's...odd. Not just having his memories, but seeing my parents through his eyes. I didn't even know my dad and Cho Chang ever dated. He never talks about the past except in terms of the war, not having his parents. When he was in a good mood, the Marauders' stories would come out. But, the little things? The normal memories of even just Aunt Hermione writing their essays for them? Or Uncle Ron teaching him to play chess? Nothing...guess you know that, now, though. Lilu's perspective of it, at least."
