"The castle should learn to like Hufflepuff," Jamie replied with an attempted chuckle and he hugged her back. "Far less drama and insanity."
He let her lead him to the couch without protest. Contrary to what Harry thought, Jamie didn't actually have it in him to battle anyone just then. Waking up with Padma that morning had been awkward -- not the least because he knew her older self and the open secret of her orientation that was very much a closed secret in her twenties. It had then turned traumatising when it sunk in they'd had sex because they thought they were his aunt and uncle. He'd only just started to process that he'd been given a glimpse into his father's life through his best friend's memories and how truly fucked up all three of them were, when Harry started in on his memories.
At least he'd gotten to see Lilu and reassure himself his sister was his sister and alive. And Al didn't seem too worse for wear having had Jamie's memories, although he now knew about all the times Jamie had done something to look out for him without letting on, which was a bit embarrassing.
And Savannah had Lilu's memories. "So...you got to see life through my sister's eyes."
