James shrugged. He wouldn't push that particular issue. Not just yet, anyway.
"It's brilliant." But however true that was, and it really really was, the emotion didn't quite make its way onto James' face. That knot in his stomach was growing, pinching and clawing at him almost painfully. Without meaning to, he thought back to the summer when Padfoot had arrived on their doorstep, and the days following it.
"Sirius," he crossed the space between them almost unconsciously, reaching out to clasp his friends arm, his gaze searching out his intently. "Hey. I'm worried about you."
