"Am I ever done?" He was joking, but there was a hint of truth there, but it didn't seem as important as what Draco was saying. He was so sure, so certain, but Harry knew better, knew himself better. Draco knew the boy he had been. He wasn't sure that Draco would have liked the new version, the one that Ginny had to put up with.
"You've been waiting for who I was. I've changed. You have changed." The kiss wasn't as much as surprise that it should have been, and Harry leaned in for a second one, because he did miss the contact. "I'm not the saint people think I am. I'm not even the saint I was. I honestly don't know how to deal with people unless they are trying to kill me." Now that was familiar and good."
He pulled Draco in for another kiss, hard and possessive this time. "You think you're better than everyone, but you haven't put up with me. We wait and we figure things out, because we are stuck here and I don't want to start another war with you. We've done that and it didn't work out well for either of us. So let's try something different." He shifted again, resting against the wall once more. "We can sit here and talk, watch the star and see what tomorrow brings."
