"To be fair, you do look quite a bit like your father, dear," Lily mentioned, unsure of what to think about Sirius having been in Azkaban. "Your Uncle Sirius had a hard life growing up, and I think your father was one of the first people who made him feel safe."
She laughed. "We'll figure it out. I'm sure between you, me, and your father we can come up with something. People can take pictures with their phones? That must be strange, having to bring it places. How does it still work disconnected from the wall?"
Lily let him speak, her expression going from concern to shock and back to concern again. "I can't imagine why anyone would think that Sirius could kill us, I'm nearly certain that he would rather die before doing anything that might hurt your father. And I really don't know what to think about Peter... I assume you told your father all this as well?" This time, when the tears started, she didn't stop them. To hear that Harry had dealt with people trying to kill him on top of everything else was just too much for her heart to bear. "I'm so sorry, sweetheart, I can't imagine how terrible that must have been. I'm glad Severus was able to help you, despite how he felt about your father. I always knew he was a good man deep down."
