"He is good looking," Draco admitted with a wry smile. He hoped Scorpius was kidding, because while Fenrir was an attractive man he had a lot of baggage. His son could do better, anyway. "I'll take the help, we can start by getting him to socialize every once in a while!"
When Scorpius talked like that Draco could never seem to help grinning like an idiot.
"We do have the best family don't we." He felt a little bad about that, since it mostly meant that everyone else here was all different shades of messed up. But he was proud of his relationship with Scorpius, and he wasn't above flaunting it.
Draco looked back up, feeling touched and hopeful and more than a little humbled by Scorpius' confidence in him.
"I never did manage to kill anyway," he admitted softly. "I tried. I, I hurt people, but even, even when I thought it was life or death... Even then I couldn't do it. So. There's that."
