Scorpius laughed. "I'm sure Ms Patil is a very nice person, but I'm sure she's glad too."
He sat crossed legged on the couch, turned sideways so he could look at his father. "That's good, about Greyback. I don't think he'd be running around the castle if he were like he was back then. I don't think Mr. Potter would let him, but it's good that he gets a new chance."
Scorpius frowned. "What are you talking about? Are you talking about the war? I wasn't really paying a lot of attention to those memories. They were.. not relevant to our life here. I mean Ms. Patil and I have your memories, but we're not you. We weren't doing what you did. Despite what we remembered, we never even got physical? We would talk about the castle and what was happening, but neither of us was really interested in talking or thinking about what happened."
He sighed. "Do you know what's upsetting? You and Grandfather, that's upsetting. Grandmother isn't here to fix whatever it's going on with the two of you and I refuse to let our family break up, because she's not here to kick your arses. He loves you, and you love him. Whatever happened during that war you seem to hold onto so tight is over. It's time that you start forgiving him and we can have our family back."
