"I want to say that it was more fun when we were doing it, but we had people trying to kill us so... it's equally annoying," she said, grinning although she knew that only they could see someone trying to kill her as a mere annoyance.
Parvati shrugged. "It seems a lot of work and resources for the possibility that we can figure out a pattern, and then assume that the castle interprets human behaviour according to any logical way." She didn't think that people behaved logically anyway. Teddy, though, that hurt. "I know, Padma, but he didn't go there to die. He went to live his life. He wasn't happy here, at least I don't think so. The work, the reality of it. He wanted to work in a bakery. At Hogwarts." She grinned. "The castle will never send you and Jamie back. It knows that I can't function without you around."
She sighed. "Yes, and then proceeded to have a miserable life. Apparently I was never around and Charlie was never around. Albus thinks he's responsible for the other two. Kirley- Strangely enough, he's the one who seemed to like me better now that he knows I don't hate Slytherins. Savannah- I don't know yet." She tilted her head. "Is that true? Or is it that strong personalities make for stronger magic? Not that the end result is different."
