Remus had taken to spending his time in one of two ways: wandering through the halls to reacquaint himself with the magic of the castle as well as the ghosts and portraits as he kept looking for more information on what had happened and finding random spots throughout the school to sit in peace and read through whatever books or print editions of the pilfered Prophet editions happened to catch his focus for the day. At the moment, he was sitting in a small alcove between the clock tower and the Hospital Wing. He'd spent the early morning checking the Hospital Wing for any leftover supplies. With the Full only a few days away, he wanted to know what they had in the way of medical supplies. Just in case. He'd found some old journals in the Matron's desk, probably left there by the elves because they wouldn't have had any reason to 'clean up' staff items clearly left in their proper place. Remus was hoping they might have some clues they could use, at the very least some sort of symptoms list they could watch for in case whatever had been done could still affect them.
The sound of running feet grabbed his attention, however, and he poked his head out of his alcove to see what the matter was. There wasn't really a reason for any of them to be running unless there was trouble.
A woman he didn't recognize running through the fourth floor corridor was definitely trouble. Standing, he set aside his lists and reading material. "I'm afraid I can't do that, Miss Munroe. Professor McGonagall is no longer Headmistress at the castle." Remus moved more fully out of the alcove and into full view. There probably wasn't any good way to handle a situation like this. At lease with all of their original arrivals, they'd run into people they knew. Remus could honestly say he had no idea who this young woman was and he doubted, even if she'd known his older self, he was recognizable to anyone himself. "It's only a little after eight in the morning," he added nodding his head toward the window where the sun had only reason about an hour earlier. "So I'm sure you aren't quite as late as you thought and can take a few minutes to tell me how you got here?"
