Warded to Potters
So apparently lunches with family are a thing. I'm not sure if we've ever done them, but would you like to make it a thing. We could have lunch together in one of our rooms on weekdays, so you have the weekends for yourselves, and I get that sometimes work won't allow it, but at the moment we're not that busy and we can change things in the future.

I'm in. We used to love a family lunch. Although to be fair there were only three of us and we had to put on an all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza for someone to eat anything but fruit.

(And by 'someone', I of course mean your Mother.)

But yes! Any day. We could use Gryffindor tower but we will 100% get invaded.

The whole family usually goes to Grandma Molly's for Sunday dinner. We start with Quidditch around noon and dinner after.

Lunch could be good, though.

Okay

You're definitely going to be there, right?

I will definitely be there.

Am I the only one who thinks it's weird that he wants actual family time?

You're not any crazier than I am. But, it's easy to say he wants it every day now. Let's see how long it lasts.

Want me to come find you beforehand so we can go in together?

I can't do every day. I can't Jamie.

Yeah. Okay. I guess.

If it gets to be too much, you don't have to. Just take it one day at a time, Al.

Looks like. I mean, if that's what it takes, I guess? Better than nothing? Maybe.

Maybe. Maybe is the word, yes. I guess it won't be the same as a full Weasley dinner.

No, it probably won't be. We'll give it a try and see how it goes. If it all blows up in our faces, well...at least we made an effort, right?

I figured that with work and all, you two would want the weekends for yourselves. Lunch at mine then and if there's a problem, we can figure it out on a case by case basis.

Not a whole lot to do on those weekends. But, appreciate the thought.

You never know. Maybe more Quidditch or something else. Also seven days a week might be pushing it no matter what Draco says

Seven days a week is a bit of culture shock. And, we can always adjust more or less as we need to.

I know better than to think that we could be in the common room and not have Sirius there. We can do my room.

That works too. If he follows me I'll just pretend to throw a ball and run in the opposite direction. Bless him.

Which weekday are we talking?

That's almost mean, but very accurate.

Usually that's Monday through Friday, unless people have any objection to it. I mean I'm not exactly used to any of this since I was a family of one and Ron and Hermione worked as much as me, but I'm trying to see if this works.

Okay. I'm all up for giving it a shot.
