James couldn't help but pull a bit of a face. He had almost as much of a problem with Regulus as he did Snape, and he knew it was very much mutual. James would never forgive Regulus for what had happened to Sirius in that house.
Still, if he had been helping with the potion... James turned to look back at Remus. His glasses had gone wonky, so half of his friends face was a fuzzy blur.
"I'll offer you cold indifference," he shot back, raising one teasing eyebrow. "It's the best I can do."
James thought a wide berth was probably the best anyone could ask for when it came to him and those particular Slytherins. It had been working so far.
James stifled a yawn and adjusted his glasses. He shouldn't have laid down. It was such easier to pretend you hadn't been up all night when you were prancing around like an idiot. The thought reminded him of something...
"Hang on. You weren't planning on going to work, were you?'
