Re: James | Remus
Remus couldn't help the wince as James' arm fell around his shoulders, but it was hard to focus on torn muscles and over-sensitive skin when he was experiencing the minor miracle of knowing exactly what he'd done in his wolf form the night before. So, while his body might wince and recoil, the smile dimming briefly with pain, he still laughed softly and shook his head.
"It's okay. It's...Mam Sanctaidd Dewiniaid, Prongs! I can't even describe it. Yes! I remember your antlers getting stuck and Padfoot trying to pull them free with his teeth. And the rabbits! Poor things must be terrified with two great hulking canines chasing after them." James' excitement was a bit catching. Or, maybe it was just giving Remus the permission he needed to truly celebrate this as he should.
"I also remember that a certain stag and mutt were way too close to see what happened before we truly knew the potion had worked," he teased, briefly leaning against James' shoulder to shoulder. This is going to change everything, James had said. Remus was hardly even capable of thinking of 'everything', when it was hard enough to comprehend what had already changed. "It's amazing."
