Re: Regulus/Jamie
"Right, so a girl kicked your arse," he said, trying not to laugh himself. "And no, I'm pretty sure that annihilating the competition was the point of Quidditch in my time. It wasn't just Quidditch. The competition started outside of the gates and carried over." He pretended to think and then shook his head. "No, that's not the answer." And then he gave up and just laughed. "Merlin, your generation. Severus is the adult, he's been out of school much longer than you and he can still old a grudge. Lucius, Sirius, your grandfather. I can name plenty of people I knew, including people who were grandparents. The grudges never ended. they were left as inheritance."
Regulus sighed. "This name business will grow annoying. It was much easier when there was only one Potter but Harry sounds strange. And again, no he really not that different. I think traits stopped meaning as much in your time. Look at your cousin. Everyone seems shocked she's not a Gryffindor. She would have been in Gryffindor in my time. You sounds more like a Ravenclaw than a Gryffindor. You want Gryffindors, talk to Sirius, talk to your grandfather." He snorted. "You might be right, but not in the way you can imagine. Sirius didn't go after me and I made sure to never to go directly after him. The fact that we still want to hex each other on sight after being dead, coming back to life and jumping decades into the future should tell you just how well we can hold grudges."
