"Duly noted. Ignore Skeeter. Shame about the orgies though, they can be dead fun."
They continued through the winding corridors, and it was very difficult to remember that he was walking with Harry and not James. If he just looked out of the corner of his eye... No. Couldn't think that way. Wouldn't be fair to Harry. Or James.
"Yeah, Reggies a decent seeker. Jamie and I were Chasers. Unbeatable team. Moony is better than he pretends he is. I bet Narcissa is too. Dora strikes me as a wildcard, bet she's a ton of fun on the pitch. Might be a good idea, get a little game going, break the monotony a bit."
He smiled mischievously.
"Oh, I know better than to do magic in London. At least not without being dead sneaky. Do you suppose it's still illegal to be a poof out there? Can't tell you how many times I got arrested for sucking random muggles off in alleyways. Ah, the good old days." Sirius had never been ashamed of his sexuality, especially since it made mother dearest so angry.
"I've always been a hugger. Sorry about springing that one on you. If you don't like them I'll try to hold off, but Moony will tell you I have absolutely no sense of personal space." He laughed and gave Harry a wink.
"Oh trust me, I know this castle is magic as shit. You can taste it in the air. When I said the basics I mostly meant no new wards from the old days. Nothing that'll kill us if we try to leave, or trap us in a time bubble or rewrite the universe. At least that I could find. You could study this old girl for a hundred lifetimes and still not find all her secrets." He breathed deeply and smiled. "I love it here. Even like this. Even with everything being mental. Hogwarts... I know this'll sound daft, but Hogwarts was the only place I've ever felt truly at home."
