"If it ended with shoes I wouldn't have been disowned," he snorted. "Though Padfoot does like shoes." A Marauder Grin slid onto his face as Teddy mentioned the house elves. "If that's all that's stopping you then we can fix that! I'm dead hand at Transfigutation, I can make you a kitchen! I'll have to redo it every few days, but there's no reason you can't turn one of these empty classrooms into your own space! The house elves will give you ingredients if we tell them too. I bet some homemade treats would really raise morale."
Sirius couldn't help the slow, flirtatious smile. Sirius flirted like he breathed. And he was definitely reading into Teddys reaction. He was just affectionate, much like Sirius himself. Still...
"You better be careful. Because I'll take you Siriusly, and then you'll be stuck spending every second of every day with one of your hands permastuck to my hair."
Teddy seemed a lot better, and Sirius took the moment to nuzzle his hair with his nose.
"Well, good, because like I said, you're stuck with us now." He almost said Teddy was a Marauder, but the word caught in the back of his throat. It was loaded now. What he'd said to Peter, about none of them being Marauders anymore... He hadn't allowed himself to say it before, but he'd been thinking it.
