Al nodded, sticking close to Jamie's back. He was well aware of his brother's protective streak, and it often chafed at him. But this wasn't the time to push things, and this way Al could make sure no one came up behind him.
This didn't feel like and Uncle George prank. It was too tame, for one thing. A portkey to Hogwarts, of all places, without a twist? Unlikely. Unless there were traps set between here and the castle. He wouldn't put it past them, especially if Uncle Charlie and Uncle Ron were helping. They all knew how completely Albus hated pranks, but that wouldn't stop them. It certainly never had before. They all seemed to think he needed to lighten up, stop taking everything so seriously...
