Re: James & Teddy
"I don't think its cruel," James shrugged. "Its not like home is a bag of roses for any of us. And it's coming from a good place." He hesitated, then decided he might as well ask. "Who are you waiting on?"
He could empathise with Teddy - there were few people here he would have much rather weren't, and definitely some he needed to arrive sooner rather than later.
James smiled a little bitterly at the mention at Greyback. "Sounds like we all made the same promise on that one." It wasn't easy for James to sit back and pretend he was fine with Greyback wandering around, but he figured as long as Remus and, more unlikely, Sirius did the same, they could hopefully just ignore him. If not - well, he'd be there right alongside them.
"It's frustrating though," he admitted. "Y'know, that people like Greyback have been given a second chance while others haven't." A flash of dark red hair in his mind's eye. James swallowed and took a hasty gulp of beer. "I guess there must be a plan over who arrives, or maybe it's just bad luck. I dunno which would be worse."
