Re: Harry/Draco
"I would, yes. In fact I had a hard time even remembering your name until we graduated. I still forget it sometimes."
He laughed, because even the idea of being with Savannah was utterly absurd. He couldn't imagine spending more than an hour with that much good humor, forget about all the woman stuff.
"Luckily I don't expect you to say it. I'm a Slytherin, and we don't mind telling the world how brilliant we are."
He honestly had no idea how to occupy his father long term. It had been easier when he was more vegetable than anything else, haunting the manor like a very breakable ghost. This version of his father hadn't lost his ambition yet.
"I'll talk to him." He said again. "Maybe something will come up. I'll let you know."
His laugh was bitter this time, but not angry.
"He couldn't exactly reward me for my failure, could he." Which 'he' didn't really matter. Father did what the Dark Lord wanted, after all, and the Dark Lord had been furious with them both. "I managed, and it doesn't matter now. I've got my old one back, thanks to a certain Gryffindor."
