Re: CHO & ALBUS
It was curiosity, rather than anything else, which had led Albus to the party. He'd arrived a little late, hoping that his arrival might be masked somewhat. Perhaps surprisingly, Albus had quite enjoyed such a gathering at one point. Not so much recently, but back at school and a short time afterwards, they had been quite enjoyable.
They'd been quite different from this, of course. The music, for one, seemed to beat inside his chest, and people milled about so freely it was rather disconcerting.
Aside from a conversation with Cassandra and a few others, he'd mostly kept to himself. Hovering around the edges, watching and listening, as was his habit. It was for this reason that he was stood by the door when it cracked open and a young lady walked in.
Albus blinked at her. He didn't recognise her, but that didn't mean much. Albus frequently missed new arrivals. More important was that the girl seemed quite distressed. He hesitated for a moment, before his overriding feeling of concern took over.
"Excuse me," he approached her carefully. "Are you all right?"
