Catching up with Kirley had been a gas. He'd been so young when she'd last seen him and now to see him as a grown-ass man with a career and a kid? Such a trip. And if maybe she had left behind the idea that if he needed company post-party, she'd be happy to accommodate, well, that was just between them and the extensive record collection he'd scrounged up.
Glenda had been making the rounds, trying to be as friendly and social as she could. If she had mixed up her own version of a Long Island iced tea with the bottled she'd had and had already had two of them and thusly was well on her way to smashed, that was her business.
She had been swaying and swinging for a good pace now and if maybe she had hit people with her way too long hair multiple times - well, at least she was quick to apologize. Like now, when she did it again, "Sooorry. I've gone a little loose in the joint department, I think."
