Who:Theodore Nott and OPEN
When:Mid evening, Friday.
Where: The library.
What:Looking for something new
Theodore's time here had been a bit of a blur. There really hadn't been much for him to do personally, save for drink and read and drink some more and check his journal. Even that had been largely quiet. Aside from the listings of new arrivals and whatever chore of the moment that Potter might post, there had not been much for him. Other people, well. He read the lists. It wasn't hard to imagine what other people were scurrying about doing and fretting about. That and he had seen some people in his travels and that so far was avoidable. It was easy to pass by without being noticed, or to be alone in a crowd, if you knew how.
The library was quiet today although it usually was. He had been in and out daily since he first arrived and had only seen glimpses of people in passing. It was familiar and comforting here, with the air so full of the musty scent of old paper that was laden rich with ideas. Hogwarts library always brimmed with potential in a way other library's did not and its charms were all its own. The endless aisles and shelves and books to chose from didn't hurt. But it was the atmosphere and a little nostalgia that drew him here.
Theo walked slowly along the aisles, letting his fingers skim over the smooth bindings of both ancient and newer works. He didn't have anything in mind today to browse for. He just wanted something different. More leisure than practicality or research. Theo had been quick to take all relevant writings he could find related to time travel, theoretical and documentation of experimentation, on one of his previous outings. He supposed he'd have to return them soon, but not today. Maybe not at all if nobody came looking.
