I have wondered about that. How bad could the population problem be when it seems like we all, well, populated. Even me! Our children weren't that old when it all fell apart. They still had time to have families. So why the urgency? There must be something we don't know.

You're right, it doesn't, because there are no more bakeries or cat walks or whatever else. They'll have to adjust.
