"Weirder things have happened," James shrugged. Although he wasn't totally sure that was true.
He had a lot of questions about the whole woman's clothes thing, but decided to leave it all for another day. The future was different. It was probably easier to just go with the flow. Merlin knew he had enough stuff to worry about in his 1980s brain.
"Whenever that is," he agreed. "I'm sure it'll all kick off then." Although at the rate things were going, it felt like they be here forever. He had to remind himself that it had only been a few weeks since he'd arrived - so much had happened that it felt a lot longer.
"Anyway," James gestured absently over Scorpius' shoulder, where the stairs continued upwards. "I should get going." Not that he really had anywhere to be, but he suddenly felt like he had an extra hundred things to think about, and that was best done on the move. "It was good meeting you."
