"Knowing Moody? He says the latter and means the former," Remus said with a chuckle. The older man had a contrary streak to rival Remus' friends' sometimes. But, Remus had also learned a lot from him during the war.
Conjuring up a knife and summoning a piece of fallen wood through the nearest window, he began whittling at the wood while he talked. It was something he'd picked up while travelling with the nomadic wolves the previous year and he was still trying to improve his carving skills. In any case, it was something to do while they waited for Sirius.
"I heard something about Snape taking a position at the school. Potions would be a good subject for him. He was brilliant when we were in school. I would hope some of that transferred itself to his teaching." He couldn't really see Severus Snape teaching, didn't think he had the tolerance for it. But, one never knew. "But, I doubt I'll end up teaching now. That was another lifetime. We don't even know if we can get back to our timelines, or if Hogwarts will let us stay once we do. Even if we were to go back, after spending time here, all our choices will be different."
