"I mean, there's the wall that's far more steady," she motioned to exactly what Remus was doing "But I do love to live my life on the edge." Tonks grinned by way of hello, not terribly embarrassed by her clumsiness. It was what it was and, if she managed to get through Moody's tests and trainings in spite of it, she figured that it probably wouldn't be the death of her. Possibly the death of her parents, but that was neither here nor there.
As he took to looking around in one direction, she did the same in the other. By this time in her own time, they had been paired up a few times for some missions, so Tonks felt relatively at ease with the man. "I searched the dorms in Hufflepuff. There's nothing there. Not even forgotten clothes. Which is odd? Even in an abandoned state, you're as like to find some signs that there was human life here, yeah?"
But she nodded at the thought, hoping they would find something. "You and Sirius," Tonks started, having previously noted that they didn't arrive together. "You'll be okay." It was said as a statement, because more time had passed in real life and they still were friends, but she also looked at him quizzically to make sure.
At least until she tapped her forehead in realization of something. "Binns! That dry old ghost has to know something." He was the bloody professor of history. "Mental note for later."
