Being properly dressed again was much better (though his exhaustion was starting to show). He practically clung to Sirius as they made their way to Gryffindor tower, squeezing his hand tighter and tighter the closer they got. There was no guarantee that Remus was even going to be there but he was nervous as Hell.
Into the portrait hole he went, doing his best to keep control of his appearance as his anxiety only grew. He closed his eyes, listening at first. He liked to think that maybe somewhere in his memory that he would know his father's voice, even if he had been newly born at the time.
"Yes," he answered with a small smile, "But you were older and I was a baby." The first time he said 'Hi dad' it was a nearly inaudible whisper so he steeled himself and tried again, "Hi, dad. I'm Teddy. Sirius found me downstairs. Says I've travelled through time. Hasn't said why." He nudged Sirius with an elbow but held onto him for support.
